Look for Team RunFree at the following events!
Our Synergy teams are returning to run the Grand Blue Mile race again in downtown Des Moines. This will be our second year, and it likely is a race we will return to again and again. It's a bit too crowded for Team RunFree race carts, but the Synergy teams will navigate the course ... and the crowds easily.
A fun Sunday afternoon race that we have run for many years.
We love supporting great causes, and we are warmly welcomed to this neat 5K.
We really like this 5K race. It starts and ends at the Women of Achievement Bridge along the Des Moines river in downtown Des Moines. It's a fun race and we love returning to this race each year. The proceeds go to fight hunger in poor countries - a very worthy cause to support.
This will be our 3rd year running this neat race in Van Meter. It's a small town race that they do a very good job with. Nice route through town, fun music ... even a bit of foam that teams can go through (or not).
A new race for us ! It will be our first Carlisle race, and this will be at Banner Lakes at Somerset State Park. Annnd ... we like what they are doing with the race proceeds: "All proceeds from this event will go to the Warren County Conservation Board to help purchase an All-Terrain Off Road Wheelchair". The race shirt looks like a neat one as well. This should be a fun one !
Another favorite that has been popular with our running teams. Nice race, good route, easy access and parking, plus a kids race and a few extras.
This is from the race website:
We will have all kinds of things to do for the whole family after you complete your 5k. There will be a family fair with some local businesses that you can check out. Shop around and see what these businesses have to offer. Look for some of your favorite foods to enjoy as well! Oh, one more thing! We have fun things for the kids too! There will be a Kids Run that you can sign the littles up for, and the Kidz Play Zone will be available for them to enjoy !
